Customer Reviews
New Matt Redman is worth the wait The songs on We Shall Not Be Shaken, all of them new, are all singable by congregations, which is a definite bonus. There are several standout songs ('Remembrance', 'Through it all', and 'My Hope'). The album is great for listening to in the car and to enjoy a worshipful experience.
New Matt Redman CD I don't often buy 'worship leader' CDs, I tend to gravitate more towards christian bands as I get frustrated by the often bland and uninspiring production on many British singer-songwriter albums. We Shall Not be Shaken, however, is noticeably different.
'You alone can rescue' is a fantastic song of worship, beautifully describing the wonder of God's grace and painting a picture of just how incredible Christ's sacrifice was. There are several other stand-out songs and even my least favourite could still work well in a church-service context.
The most pleasing thing though is that the production quality is topnotch and so there are no distractions away from the honesty and quality of the song-writing. I gave it a good but really it's a 9/10 which for me is staggeringly high!
Another fantastic offering from Redman! Matt Redman has done it again! Stiring anthems and amazing worship songs that are guareented to be sung in churches the world over.
I've only the CD two days, but already can't get the 'Rememberance'song out of my head.
With contributors like Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman was always onto a winner with 'We Shall Not Be Shaken', and with lyrics like 'Dying you destroyed our death, Living you Restore our Life' this album will touch the hearts and minds of Christians everywhere.
Redman's music is written with one thing in mind -to glorify God, and he succeeds.
Simply Brilliant! Excellent CD - my first Matt Redman one too & so moving & inspirational. Track number 7, Remembrance (Communion Song) incredibly powerful. I heard Matt Redman at New Wine playing some of the tracks & that inspired me to buy the CD
A classic! Brilliant new album for Matt Redman. Catchy melodies for congregations and great depth in lyrics. Also some fantastic songs for personal worship time
great new album great to listen to throughout. I don't think every track is suitable for the average congregation but there are certainly several that I intend to use in our church (a large charismatic anglican church of all ages).
