This was the topical question addressed by 40 scholars of the two faiths who gathered for a major two-day international seminar at Lambeth Palace in January 2002. Hosted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, the event was supported by the Prime Minister, with the co-operation of Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan.
