Customer Reviews
thought-provoking Stephen Dawes writes in an easily accessible style, but introduces a range of challenging ideas about prayer. Stephen is a methodist minister and academic, with excellent skills in communicating with the general reader. Through the eyes of different characters he explores different ideas of prayer, finally bringing us up-to-date with post-modernist ideas, though the book is thankfully free of such technical terms.
