Oriel's Diary
Availability: Our Price: £7.82
Told from the perspective of Oriel, one of the angelic host and an archangel colleague of Gabriel and Michael, this fictionalised re-telling of the life of Jesus is closely based on Luke's Gospel. The diary opens with the Boss giving the go-ahead to initiate the plan of salvation, Gabriel is about to appear to Mary to announce the birth of Jesus...
A fresh view of a very familiar story giving, as it were, sneak insights into God's intentions. Very entertaining, often humorous, and sometimes very moving. This book will appeal to both Christians and non-Christians.

Customer Reviews
Very, very good Thought provoking, the bible cross fantasy, an unlikely combination that does work. a litle toungue in cheek at times (ie john the dunker!) but friendly, very funny, and completely reviting. the book builds up very well to the final hours, and the aftermath. by far the best in the series, and even non believers should read this. i adore maff.
This was amazing!! Rob Harrison does a superb job of bringing Jesus' story to life in this truly inspired book. The images of good & dark spirits controlling the characters really illuminated many instances from life when you see people (& self) struggling. It has made me so much more aware of the battle that is going on all around us, all the time... The crucifiction scene where 'The Boss' turns his back on The Son is so visual and brings the whole reason for that selfless act to light. Amazing; can't wait to read Oriel's Travels...
I didn't want to put this book down I borrowed this book from our Church Library and loved it! The accounts of the life of Jesus are so familiar to me that sometimes I tend to take for grandted what Jesus did for me by coming to earth. So it was very interesting to see things from a totally different point of view - that of the Archangel Oriel! It has certainly made me appreciate more fully the amazing thing that God has done in sending Jesus. Brilliant! I'm looking forward to Oriel's other challenging tasks that God sets for him - getting Paul to Rome to spread the news about Jesus and helping Moses in his calling to get God's people out of Egypt. Oriel's Diary was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone!
